Dexaquin Eye Drop is a combination of two medicines. It is used in treating infection of the eyes. It relieves pain, itching, discomfort, and irritation caused by infection. It also stops the growth of the infection causing microorganisms.

Dexaquin Eye Drop is strictly advised to be used only in the eyes. Use it in the prescribed dose and duration. Apply it only on the affected eyes. You must wash your hand before administering the medicine. Do not use it more than the recommended dose. The medicine should not be stopped suddenly without doctor's consultation.

It is generally safe, but it may sometimes cause irritation, tingling sensation, discomfort and pain in the eyes. These effects are mild and go away in some time. However, if these effects persist, you should consult the doctor immediately.

HOW TO USE DEXAQUIN EYE DROP

This medicine is for external use only. Take it in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Check the label for directions before use. Hold the dropper close to the eye without touching it. Gently squeeze the dropper and place the medicine inside the lower eyelid. Wipe off extra liquid.

HOW DEXAQUIN EYE DROP WORKS

Dexaquin Eye Drop is a combination of two medicines: Moxifloxacin and Dexamethasone. Moxifloxacin is an antibiotic which prevents bacterial cells from dividing and repairing, thereby killing the bacteria. This treats your eye infection. Dexamethasone is a steroid which blocks the production of certain chemical messengers (prostaglandins) that make the eye red, swollen and itchy.
